Duong-Van Nguyen is the Deputy CEO, globally in charge of ADAS and AD at VinFast. He is also the representative of VinFast at EU commission. Dr. Nguyen is the pioneer in the field of ADAS/AD with remarkable contributions to the existing products in the market. Thanks to his outstanding expertise, he received 9 Research and Innovation Grants from EU Research Council, including CARAMEL (2019), CPSoSAware (2020), TRUSTEE(2022), BERTHA(2023), and ZEV-UP(2023), AutoTrust(2024), GuideAI (2024) etc. Also he has been elected to be the Senior Member of IEEE, a member of IEEE ITS, and a member of IEEE standard working group P2020. He has served as a member of Technical Program Committee, advisory boards, a conference/workshop organizer, an invited speaker, and a reviewer for a number of journals and conferences. Dr. Nguyen has published 1 book, 1 book chapter, 1 springer interview, 9 patents, 8 journals, and 30+ conference papers

Dr. Yuhan Yao holds a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Southern California in the United States, along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Peking University in China. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of ADAS Systems Software and Services, in the business unit of the Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Division at Bosch. Dr. Yao previously served as Engineering Director at NIO, where he led the development of advanced AD systems and managed global teams. At Waymo, Dr. Yao directed the architecture of sensing and perception systems for the Waymo Driver, and at Apple, he was instrumental in developing multi-touch sensing technology for the iPhone. He also served as Lead System Architect at Oracle. His expertise spans electro-physics, machine learning, and AI, establishing him as a leader in autonomous driving technologies.

With over 17 years of experience across multiple domains, including commercial electric vehicles and automotive embedded systems, Dix manages a global team to streamline software testing operations and advance HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing environments. In his current role, Dix oversees resource allocation, budget management, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies to support testing operations. His expertise in automotive software testing, from initial design to final validation, enables him to implement strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement in testing practices. Previously, Dix held senior roles at Siemens, Valeo Siemens, and Bosch, where he specialized in software testing for commercial electric vehicles, ADAS camera systems, and inverter technologies. His contributions to test automation and simulation-based validation have been instrumental in driving innovation in automotive V&V processes. Dix is passionate about advancing V&V methodologies and aligning them with the evolving landscape of autonomous technologies. His technical interests include AI-driven testing, software-defined vehicles, and system-level validation to support the safe deployment of autonomous driving systems.

Since 2017 she is with Continental in the field of Artificial Intelligence. She owned different roles as leader of Computer Vision in the central pre-development and today as responsible for the innovation projects in the area of new AI Technologies within Research and Advance Engineering. Since 2023 she is principal expert Artificial Intelligence for Continental. Her main message is “AI is for everybody” – both in the enterprise environment and in the private life. Currently, her main interest is on self-supervised learning.
